There will be (2) fundraising options for the 2019-20 club season. All funds raised can be used to offset a player's team dues.
1. Cash Raffle - On the evening of December 19th from 6:00-9:00pm we will pull three cash prizes in the amounts of $1,000, $750, and $500. You do not need to be present to win. Tickets will be sold at $10/ticket and will be dispersed to our players/parents on Sunday November 17th between 12:00-5:00. All boys players will receive their tickets during their practice on November 17th 12:00-2:00pm. All girls 11u, 12u, 13u and 14u will receive their tickets during their open gym on November 17th 2:00-3:30pm. All girls 15u, 16u, 17u and 18u will receive their tickets during their open gym on November 17th 3:30-5:00pm. Each player will be required to sell 2 tickets to cover overhead costs. Any ticket sold after the 2nd ticket is funds that you can put toward your team dues.
2. Serve-A-Thon - On the same evening of December 19th from 6:00-9:00pm we will run a serve-a-thon event. Players are not required to participate in this fundraiser. Players will be provided with a sponsor collection form as well as a sponsor letter for Horseshoe Volleyball Club. The player will collect "flat donations" as well as "per serve donations" from family members, friends, local businesses and organizations. On the night of December 19th, players will take 25 attempts to serve the ball. The number of serves in bounds will be multiplied by each "per serve donation" collected by the player. For example, a player that makes 20/25 serves and collects a $0.50 per serve donation would earn $10 from that specific sponsor.
